Members of the VCH Library Services team are experienced and willing to show you how to find quality information on your own. Whether you want to try searching a basic library catalogue or plan to carry out an expert literature search, we can help! We will share with you the knowledge and show you the skills you need to find information that matters.

OVID

• Web-based training. Training sessions offered by OVID on: OVID Web Gateway (interface) basic &advanced, journals@OVID, etc.
• Training & Help. How to get the most out of OVID; training resources for novice, intermediate, and advanced users; Help using the OVID databases

PubMed

• PubMed tutorial (National Library of Medicine)
• PubMed Guide - learn about: searching basics, special features, the clipboard, etc. (from Medical Library Association)

• e-HLbc brochure (PDF) - brief overview of e-HLbc journals and databases. Look here for information on what subjects/disciplines are covered in each database, etc.
